Addis Abeba, Ethipia May, 2009
During part of April and most of May in 2009, I traveled to Addis Abeba, Ethiopia with Ellen Currano and Bonnie Jacobs to conduct paleobotany research at the National Museum of Ethiopia. We worked most of the time, but we did manage to spend a few days walking around the city, enjoying the good food, and experiencing the culture. Rocky Mountain
National Park
August 9th - 16th, 2008
My wife, Robin, and I spent a week traveling in Texas, New Mexico, and Colorado, visiting several really aweseome places. We spent most of the trip hiking around Rocky Mountain National Park and relaxing in Estes Park, CO, but we also visited the Garden of the Gods, the Maroon Bells, and Great Sand Dunes National Park, which are all in Colorado, as well as Capulin Volcano in New Mexico, and Palo Duro Canyon in Texas.
